Fairfield Parents Network
What is FPN for?
When your children are at primary school, it is often easy to get talking to other parents and carers at the school gates when you drop them off or pick them up. It can be really useful to share experiences and information, and support and help each other in simple ways. It can seem harder to build up that network at secondary, but Fairfield Parents Network aims to make it just as easy to make contact!
How do we work with the school?
Fairfield Parents Network is strongly supported by the school. They keep us informed about changes they are making so that we can discuss them and give feedback; tell us about opportunities to help the school, for example by coming in and talking to classes; and listen to us when we raise issues to help make the school better.
What do we do?
Fairfield Parents Network meets in school once a term. Please email us to find out the date of our next meeting.
We also have a Facebook group, called Fairfield Parents Network. Go to //www.facebook.com/groups/fairfieldpn/ and request to be added. (We will need to check that you are genuinely connected to the school, please don’t be offended by our questions!)
Parents of children who will be coming to the school, or who are considering applying, are welcome to make contact with current parents at //www.facebook.com/groups/FairfieldNewParents/ - we have made separate groups so it is easier for people to find the content they are interested in.
Any little way you can help is welcome! Please contact us:
